Although VBQ is excellent, in general I don't understand comparascents (within the Nebula world of course) of EQ's. Each brand of EQ brings to the table different attributes and "color" for a specific task at hand. This incidentally also adds to dimensionality within a mix. This was mentioned in another thread I recall, that even the same model EQ from a different session is valuable, such as two different 1073's for example. I personally couldn't live without the variety of different EQ's.
