Thank you so much for doing this again and providing the manual with frequency response curves and harmonic contents. Realize its the sound but gives us all a better idea of what exactly each input does.
That's possibly the softest non-boring EQ I've ever heard. Phew. Kinda similar to the F*******e 115, but still different. Jazz, Ambient, other elevator-music I hear you bloom ! The hi-shelve is transparent, yet it is there.
Thanks for supplying demos, Alex. They make all the difference. I never thought I'd actually consider this library !
I didn't consider the MWC either in the past. I think it is one of the most overlooked consoles around. The sound of this console is just perfect. I've had the privilege of mixing with all Alex's consoles and I can tell you this is my favorite so far. It has that modern, perfect, clean yet analogue sound of all, it is just the sound we're used to in countless of modern albums. It's really hard to describe to be honest, I'd say that if the MBC and the CLC had a child, this console would be it hehe it has the best of both worlds: punch and smoothness. This console is very subtle, it makes you think it isn't doing anything if you insert an input mic in one of your vocal tracks but once you place all the instances in their correct place you DO notice the difference... a HUGE difference imo. I just love it. When Alex released it I said "meh, I want the S*L one, there's where most good hip-hop/trance/techno stuff is mixed at" and I guess I was not wrong but the N**e 5088 is just that and more.
