Free program - T*****t Trimix preamp

Postby voidar » Wed Feb 01, 2012 5:10 pm

A while ago I had some time with NAT and my Trimix. The T*****t Trimix has a transformer loaded preamp.

The outcome is more of an experiment than anything else, but should be usefull.

I might have another go in the future.

Sampled @ 44.1kHz, cal. @ -18 via Apogee Mini series.

Please tell me what you think.

Very cool, thanks! I happen to be at what I call the Nebula phase of a project; swapping out preamps and other colorations. So I'll report back in a few hours. I have heard the hardware version before, so I am excited!

I have the files in their proper spots, and for the life of me I can't find the preset in Nebula!! :o It's not in "preamps", unless you gave it a starnge name. But I looked in ALL of the categories and I'm not seeing anything that I don't already recognize. Any ideas? Maybe I will clear my Neb cache and see if that helps, even though I usually only need to do that after a big Nebula upgrade..... :|

Hmm. It shows up as "753 - T*****t Trimix Preamp", under Preamps on my Nebula :/,

here is my preamp menu..... I don't see it. I even cleared my Neb Temp folder and deleted the scanboot file. Which Nebula version are you using? I am on Pro Server version, so I assumed that it would open any preset. Just as a test, could you load the files you uploaded into your nebulatemprepository and see if by chance you uploaded something different than what is working on your computer? Just a thought. I have many libraries and have never had a preset that works for others not work for me. Bummer.

Name, Category, subcat.....are all blank, I doubt nebula could read it to show up on the list.

Come to think of it, I did rename the files for upload to make it look better. They were named "T*****t TRIMIX PRE".

Could this have done something?

It doesn't seem to load, no.

Here are the original files.

Or do I have to do something in NAT?
