In reconsidering this new library-

While I support the effort to make this product as flexible as possible, and I'm enthusiastic for any Nebula release using some good sounding real spaces- multiple mic positions, different mics and preamps is way, way overkill for my uses.

All I am really looking for are a couple of good sounding rooms- ideally one each of the following: small, med, and large (hall).

Ever since I tried Enrique's Real Space Demo, I've been lusting after some more real rooms for Nebula. While that program has issues with frequency resonances, it does show you how realistic Nebula has the potential to be for real acoustic spaces.

I'll eat my words and be among the first to buy it if this new release is good- but again, I would recommend keeping it simple, especially as no one has yet been able to pull off a truly usable real acoustic spaces library for Nebula. One step at a time.

@burnsound there are a couple of freebies from CDsoundmaster Producerpack2 that may be of interest. Still not quite there tho with the feeling of the sound being recorded within a room, but closer than most things I've tried.
I'm looking forward to this and hope they really do pull it off and give us some real 3dimensional sound within our computers

Have you tried the Producer's Pack 2 Real Spaces from CDSoundmaster? They're pretty awesome. I think CDSM pulled it off rather well, actually, better than any other "room reverb" I have ever used.

I've considered the CDsoundmaster library a number of times- but the demos just don't sound good to me. And I don't get the feeling that the demos were made badly or anything- those reverbs just don't do it for me.
