Strangely enough, the 3 and 5 programs sound a bit different.

Yeah, I noticed that too. And if you check the files in the Vector folder the 5 kernel versions have a bigger filesize than the 3 kernel versions. No clue here...

Knowing nothing about sampling (and I truly know just about nothing, I've never done more than a loopback test in NAT) it sure sounds like you did your sampling right; maybe there's just a step in constructing the programs to utilize those kernels?

Honestly it's hard to find information about NAT. Not that there isn't any, there was a video that someone (Velinas maybe?) made and some informative threads on the old forums but that info is very scattered and kind of hard to follow. Maybe someone who has successfully sampled something with 3+ kernels will see this thread (hopefully).

And regardles if they have 1 or many kernels they sound great. Much, much better than any vst eq. So you should be proud of your achievement.
I'll be using them for sure.

Hey rhodes54!
Pal !
I had a lot of fun with your eq.
I really hope you will do maybe a commercial release with more settings and also(why not?) a combo version,
Thanks a lot and great job.

Thanks everybody for your nice words. I hope you will enjoy the EQ's and use them in your productions.

I have no intentions in releasing them commercially. If I find out how to sample with more kernels I will try to get them once more and redo the samples (if needed).

ps. Don't forget to check the Telefunken W395a I uploaded today. :)

any response by Giancarlo?

cheers

Yesterday I tried to create 3 kernel test pprograms by changing values of unknown parameters but that didn't work out either.
I haven't heard from Giancarlo yet. For the N*****n & Telefunken EQ's his response will be too late because the owner just picked up his rack.
Anyway, I think the programs are pretty nice, even though they are just 1 kernel programs

did you ever find out what happend to the other kernels? :P did anyone offer support?

Unfortunately not. I ask several people and no one seems to know the answer why the EQ's haven't been sampled in multi kernels.
I tried a pre-amp template, and that is working fine so it seems that the templates conatin wrong settings.
Anyway, I'm actually very happy with the 1 kernel presets as I use them on loads of tracks now. Sometimes 3 instances per track.
