Nebula Programs Anonymous

Postby marcpl » Tue Dec 13, 2011 4:35 pm

hi,

i've never kept track of how many 3rd party libraries i have so i counted them up last night and i have 41!

i had no idea the problem had gotten so out of hand. i seem to buy at least 1 per week...sometimes more.

thankfully they are very reasonably priced but damn...owning nebula is like being a software crackhead!

i was going to clean up some of the clutter and get rid of some of the programs that i don't use/like but there aren't any. the 41 programs that i own are all GREAT...and very usable.

but it is an addiction!

regards,
marco

Truly! Since I began a complete moratorium on buying Nebula programs I've purchased multiple compressors, a couple EQs and the Vinylizer.

The first step to successful treatment is admitting that you have a problem.

Hello, my name is Ngarjuna. I am a Nebulaholic. It has been a little over a week since I bought my last library.

I have made a similar post before, so I know the burden it is to be a Nebulaholic. I am so glad to see others finally stepping forward and beginning the long road of a lifetime of recovery..... Hello, my name is Richie, and I am a Nebulaholic. It has been 8 days since I have purchased a library........ Maybe I can get my kids back from the broker I sold them to for the library money..... :o

... and i buy food every three days, i must be addicted...

we are not broke, because the librarys are reasonable priced.
we have fun with it, we like to work with them. we bring a technology forward by giving money to developers and acustica audio.

all very honorable things

let's say we are on a mission 8-)

which can be addictive :?

have fun,
mathias

I don't NEED Nebula or ANY of the libraries, I just want them... and I can quit ANYTIME..... after Alex releases his new compressors..... I could use regular VST's again, really.....
