Hi misterambient,

After all the comments regarding libraries, I pulled up the Hi & Low filters from CLeQ. [SSL4000e].
This happened to be ANOTHER library that I would overlook. I am now glad I have it ... will definitely look to use it. Just haven't had enough time on it yet ... no doubt, this is a high quality EQ.

What's REALLY helped is using NebulaMAN, with the addition of library descriptions [something that I want to see refined and expanded]. Doing a NM search that identifies all the 1.5k EQ's, for example ... really cuts down on the 'load & check' process, or scanning the .PDF docs. Now I can narrow down my MASSIVE collection into a clearer choice! :D

There is not a LP filter in MWeQ. Nice monitors, by the way!!

Yeah that's a bit of a shame.
Nice eq too.

I think no LPF for the MWeq has to do with Rupert N**e's (Amen) design philosiphy about the upper harmonics and the effect they have on the way we perceive sound.

I'm sure Rupert doesn't think much of Dan Lavery's (wash my mouth out) precious white paper.

yeah that was my mistake.. the HPF are what I am usually using. I forgot there isn't a LPF to go along with it.

that`s ok.. I`ll get MWQ someday too..
today I got CLeQ and after quick test I have to say the filters are very nice but the eq itself (especially low and mids..) are much better than I though it would be!! Glad to have it..

and yeah.. S3X-V is one hell of a speaker! (actually two of them..) :D
