I too use the MWeQ often. The flexiblity and sound
work very well.

yes. they have a unique sound. the resonance is a bit much for me a lot of times, but when it works it works well. i get more use out of the shelve filters he did, those are just awesome.

Same here.Definitely some "effect" filters but not for "cleaning" purpose.I have to test those shelves since a while ...

i think the high boost you can get with the high shelf is.. maybe the best i've heard.
i've used it on master mixes and it seemed like i could go a little further than usual without messing anything up, and just get this sparkly sound that wasn't there before.

I like alex's modern black console filter. Although its just on/off
Dont much like what mammoths hp/lp does to the sound. Dunno why. Ill use the liquid mix S*L hp/lp instead..
For general vst suggest something from http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/vst-plugins/effect-plugins/eqs-filter/

I have the MBC, and there are no filter presets. Are you possibly referring to the Vintage Black EQ?

I started making those mistakes and realized it was because I somehow amassed quite a large collection of Nebula Libraries.....

I have the AlexB MTP hp filter (40, 80, 120 Hz), the Vinyliser Old (hp around 300 Hz) and the Doc Fear Lo-3S or Lo-3I at my disposal. Should I get the CLeq as well?
