yeah man.. i think that this sound is possible only with nebula and thanks to your approach ...

you can have this amazing sound at your finger tips....

i just love the sound of this eq specially on guitars since it gave me new ways to work and the sound is just there soo great...

on guitars i think it gives a finished sound sort of high quality ...pro sound.... and just shows why the hardware is soo expensive..the results are amazing

Well thank you!

If you bought silk at any point you'll get a free upgrade on that too.

Results are stunning, Lovely and open as it should be. Not that it wasn't great before of course.

Hey TimP ... just wanted to mention that using your TNT Dynamics along with a P-lt-c EQ favoring the bottom end, routed on a BUS ... using this as a parallel feed with the main audio has been especially nice

I'll be able to test SILK-v4 later tonite. :)

Hehe that Dualtech library was a headache to put together. Don't forget to get total signature of the library you should always use the pre and Low band as your base presets, they represent all harmonics and proper overall phase of the library phase..

Had a few questions about why this is, well I guess because it's never been done before, so here's the phase plots when all knobs are set to ZERO

pre isolated band (part isolated phase)

Low eq-isolated band (part isolated phase)

Peak and attenuate (total isolated)

All together equals this

Hi Tim

I was curious about that on the Dualtech, was meant to ask ages ago

So always start with one of the pre settings... then the low band correct (for a low band emulation)? even if it is just for tone I use both?

If just boosting high's... Pre (instance) then High band instance?

What happens if I stack pre's for additional distortion or will that affect Phase to much.

Thanks sir

The way I've stated on my page is lowband>pre>then you choose to add peak or attenuate after, they are neutral as they are isolated.

You can use them all separately too, there is no harm in this. The peak and attenuate are silly low on cpu.

Hi Tim,

How about the new Mid Range Eq? Are bands isolated in the vein of DualTech? Just curious how my old Xeon MacPro handles the cpu usage.

Does MR-5 require more than the preamp program to emulate proper phase response?
