I use it (and all of the old TM libraries) somewhere on almost every project. Bob was a head of his time with this stuff.

Would this be a replacement for decapitator?

^not likely as decapitator is typically used to apply extreme levels of distortion. the effects of this library are not necessarily subtle, but not nearly as "heavy" (for lack of a better term). it's a great weapon for adding fullness and "warmth" to a source. i typically use it on buses including master.

This. The CV I would describe as "elegant" whereas the Decapitator is (as the name already implies) pretty un-subtle.

Hell yes! The VCult saved the guitars on a song! It was a metal song and the guitars .. I don't know, they sounded too smooth, I wanted a little more bite, tried EQ, saturation, distortion but wasnt .. satisfied. Then I put on the vulture culture and the guitars finally got that BITE. Not ear-piercing, not digital, fuzzing, artificial distortion .. just angrier!
