ok That's strange, pretty sure I didn't put the 9 in there. As you can see the original post unedited is 02

Has anyone compared this to AlexB's 1081, 1073 or MFC? Wasn't really thinking I needed another N**e EQ, but curious if anyone has compared since there isn't any demo.

Thanks!

I couldn't figure out how to get these Blue 1102 programs to how up in Cubase. I was using Nebula Setups. I tried and tried. Anyway, it turns out that Cubase has a problem.

This info that I found help solved my problem:

Plugins, created with Nebula Setups not visible in Cubase/Nuendo
Posted on December 3, 2013

The cause of the problem is that plugin names must differ at 9th character to be properly recognized by Cubase/Nuendo.

Wavelab & Reaper, for example, don’t have this problem. Please change your setup naming convention, when using Cubendo.

I found that info @ Zabukowski's site and figured that it may help someone else out.

Now, I'm going to go try these programs and compare them to the CDSM 1084.

Honestly, it is superb. I also compared to Slate VMR's N**e and it's better to me

The 1102 sounds very nice over here, too. It sounds different than the CDSM 1084 and MFC programs that I was comparing it against. I mean that in a good way. It's got it's own sort of vibe. I liked it quite a bit in the track that I was mixing last night. Just running the Line_Pre program gave the track that I was working on a pleasing tone.

In those GS examples the 1102 seems to me to sound the best / most euphonic N Magic to the mids in particular, compared to the other examples, even the other Nebula...

Its exciting that things are still improving all the time in Nebula-world as the platform/tools/NAT templates etc constantly improve, and also the expertise of the people making libraries..

It just keeps getting better...

Discount code – Give me 25% off that classic tone

This eq is based upon the module originally found in the 8068 console, It has similar characteristics of a 73 with added Frequency’s in the High band and a added High-Q mid range. The character is broad, making it a great general mixing eq, Classic curves and huge tone, The sound of a classic!

As in all samplings we used a proper designed (Raw State) power supply, this affects the sound of the unit, giving a better sense of space and detail. These modules originally have no line input when used by themselves, Sampling this unit was achieved by a modifying the unit that enabled us to create a proper Line input. I’ve Insured minimal ringing on samples to achieve Ultimate punch and clarity!

Features-

High shelf 10, 12, 16khz
Mid band ,350, 700,1600, 2700, 3200, 4800, 7200 hz
Low Shelf 35, 60, 110, 220 hz
Combined Filters High pass- 45, 70, 160 and 360hz. Lowpass- 18, 14, 10, 8 and 6khz
Line/pre 10 kernals.

Sample rates 44.1, 48 ,88.2 and 96khz
Dynamically sampled
Clean versions for lower cpu
JPN skins

This thing is insanely good. I re-preamped all the tracks in my last recording using the line/pre preset and it sounds more 3D and smoother than any other Nebula preset I have ever tried before. Unbelievable. :o

Agreed. Really is a fine release Tim! Absolute belting take on the N sound. The preamp is also a killer for sure on it's own. Bravo............
