Tim,

Any advice on tweaking GUIRATE and METERTYPE in a similar way to the opto3a programs? For opto3a, I have GUIRATE at 5000 and METERTYPE at 2.

Thanks!

we came to the conclusion safe GUIRATE is around 15ms, I guess that would be 15000 in xml. I previously recommended your settings but customers were getting issues with flickering. METERTYPE at 2=good!

Don't trust the needle, ever. JPN and Tim did a good job on the skin but the needle doesn't represent the real behavior because Nebula sucks big time on metering. One day AA will finally disclose all recent improvements to metering we see in acquas. Until that day don't trust meters, ever.

I am confused.....The skin says right on it to use meter type 7 VU.

Peak or 7 vu is fine.....

Edit- I'm not to sure how much a difference using master page meter selection has on reduction meters, I know however in eq's and pres it will make a massive difference. It seems that the biggest control is from the way we set up the reduction metering inside the preset at the envelope follower section.

So Mercado is right...there really is no ideal meter type to set things at because the meters are not accurate enough to matter.....I personally don't care, I never even use hardware meters as written in stone info....

As far as I'm concerned GUIRATE has a big effect and that's what more worried about....

If this comp was flat response the meters would be spot on, it can't be perfect. Nebula looks at the in/out so if the comp adjust frequency it does not always see as a gain reduction. Other releases will be closer

I could make it more accurate meters but you would need to use two instance to even get close to the tone.

Tim, on your website, MyAccount Purchase History...would it be possible to have a "Product Name" column. The more products I purchase the longer it takes to find specific updates...Thanks!

Downloading SUM100a-V2 now :D
