I'm so glad you finally released this compressor, Tim. It took a lot of effort but I'm sure it will be worth it.

The Summit Audio TLA-100A is one compressor I've anyways loved. I used it for many many years mostly for tracking vocals and basses. This Sum100a is exactly the same as the hardware and this is not hype. If someone has one I'd strongly suggest him/her to do an A/B and get ready to be amazed. It's a smooth compressor and if it didn't have that "dark" and "creamy" tone it would be the most transparent compressor I've ever put my hands on. You don't need to push it hard to hear how it rides the signal and controls everything. In fact, in most cases the needle doesn't even have to move at all in this Sum100a (in the hardware the meters are very different but we all know how clumsy is the metering in Nebula so forget about them, close your eyes and move the GR until it grabs). I'm really excited with this new version because I'm a fan of the real thing and I pushed Tim a lot while testing because I wanted it to be perfect (I think we got really really REALLY close. I don't have one here but I know it very well). Enjoy the update guys and throw all your bass compressors away, this is THE bass comp.

Tim calling this an "upgrade" is a humble and under-stated way of saying it. This library should be considered a "game-changer" (I am not a fan of cliches, but when it fits....)
And Tim is so generous with the free upgrades...Tim, you should have a "donate" option on your website....You deserve more cred and certainly more money for the quality you deliver. Thanks for helping make ITB audio work so enjoyable!!

Thanks for the update.
I've used v1 on many projects but unfortunately v2 is popping & crackling even on basic small projects. It's the comp program, line programs are fine. All my other Nebula plugins & Acqua comps are working fine. Latest version of Nebula x64.

I never got a single crackle or pop during the tests but truth to be told I never used it in more than 3 tracks or so. This library is a little bit different because vectors are larger than usual for a compressor. While testing we encountered a few differences here and there that affected the sound in some sample rates so Tim gave me raw files which were larger to see if that improved this. It did so he decided to make no compromises and deliver the best possible quality.
