Holy s**t! Can't believe what I'm hearing...just added the G on my busses and the stereobuss...nothing fancy..2:1 ratio, maybe 2 - 3 db gain reduction and boom! Very nice, Alex, the whole package is amazing!!

I did, the glue does have the behavior, but lacks in texture and sound quality.

Is the compression behaviour solid for the 4KD? Any bass artifacts or sth? Or is this old nebula comp thing finally a thing of the past!?

If you mean "old nebula thing" based on "bad compressor reputation", then the answer is, and has been yes for a while now.

That's good to know! Thanks! I have some timp and cupwise comps and they behave really good, just wanted to know about the alexb ones. I tried some demos of them, loved the tone, but couldn't stress test them enough to know for sure how they work on bass heavy stuff for example...

How does it behave using the hpf preset then?
Better or same basic problem?

Do not know exactly what you are asking about but the presets in this library include also HPF - you do not need to use another EQ to sidechain HPF in Nebula anymore. And the sound is just so much better than the old version. I really used to love the IK Multimedia Bus Compressor using Nebula mainly for the coloration but the G-Comp from this library sounds so great that I totally quit using the algo plug. It really compresses but does not squash anything. It is difficult to put into words... :P

For both previous posts-

Right, I'm asking about the HPF preset (lets more bass through & uncompressed)
