AlexB: Massive Mix eQ

Postby AlexB » Tue Oct 13, 2015 3:05 pm

Hello,
the Massive Mix eQ library has been released !!!

MMeQ: The Passive Sweetness
The Massive Mix eQualizer makes everything sound better. You can expect the best strengths of Pultec-style equalizers as well as choice console, parametric, and graphic Eqs. All the radical shaping you'll need for the most demanding of sessions as well as the delicate, subtle shadings needed for vocals and mastering.
Massive Mix eQualizer manages to sound clean without being weak and characterless. There is little apparent colouration, just a maturity of tone.

NOTE: it's the mix version of the Massive and it can be used for mastering also BUT the mastering Massive is a different beast with different frequency, gain structure and sound.

. High Quality programs with full dynamics and harmonic content
. Special light edition "le" programs (CPU friendly)
. High Pass Filter -18dB/oct from 0 to 220Hz
. Low Pass Filter -18dB/oct from 6 to 18kHz
. Bell variable from 22Hz to 27kHz +/- 20dB variable Q from 1,5 to 3
. Low Shelf variable from 22 to 3.9kHz +/- 20dB variable overshoot/undershoot
. High Shelf variable from 220Hz to 27kHz +/- 20dB variable overshoot/undershoot
. Special AlexB skin
. No C.P. !

Please, check the website and download the user manual and try the Demo, it has the same audio quality and performance of the commercial releases but with some restrictions.

Great release keep up the good work, your new sampling sounds too good
After purchasing few new releases

If you will listen to my request it will be a hit in the nebula world,I know you know what is right for you to do or release but with your new sampling quality please consider a release of studer A27 or 20 master tape in your tape Arsenal soon.

Very close to move from Nebula 3FREE to Pro Bundle. Already have many AlexB Demo emulations installed and working.

How can I evaluate Massive Mix eQ DEMO properly .. in terms of NAVY, which is recommended to me highly in my Post re. Slate Virtual Mix Rack_VCC :?:

Just bought and tried on a master that I have to send tomorrow…
Alex, you saved the day with this release !
This is the best MasPas emulation I've ever tried. Very easy to use : one program for one band. No need to choose between cut or boost…
The sound is there. It's simply amazing.
I don't know why, but i realize that the only eqs that I keep using in my mixes and masters always come from Alex's library.
Thanks man.

Great work!!! Alex´s new sampling technique is a dream come true. I rely on his eqs and comps all the time in my mixes and sometimes in mastering ( I have beautiful hardware for mastering and I can say alex stuff doesn´t decrease quality when I use it)

I would like to ask for a tape libray too, this would be great!!!

Greetings

I downloaded the demo, going to try it tomorrow, and guess i'll buy it before the end of the day. Since some months new AlexB libraries, with the exception of some reverbs from AITB and VNXT, are the only Nebula stuff i'm using, because they sound great!

Alex, it would be great if you can make a Gyraf XIV library.

I'm waiting for the new Phoenix version too.

Really interested in this!

Have a question though... am I right in saying this is a parallel EQ, so it mixes dry and wet signals?

does the library automatically work in parallel... or should we be setting the library up in a parallel buss or using reaper or a meta plugin to create a parallel configuration?

hope I haven't missed something which makes this a silly question...

Circuitry has nothing to do with the dry/wet control, and in the Hardware isn't present this knob, so you use the library as is: a classic equalizer. If you need to make a parallel equalization or special fx you can use the tricks you prefer with the routing in the daw.
