update ...

Current mastering session using the CLG GS SMOOTH preset ATK: 5+, REL: 100, 2.55:1, HP= 78Hz

This thing lays so beautifully over this live recording, with a density and bounce.

It's gorgeous. The soundstage is big, fat, warm, airy, punchy ... with authority.

I've had to re-structure the overall envelope with IVORY, MMeQ for equalization.

The ModernTubePreamp [AlexB] bookends the top and bottom of the chain to help push the center focus out of the listeners face, creating a very intimate listening experience ... like a great seat in a concert hall. The acoustic instruments all have space and definition/detail.

I've 2 instances of TDR NOVA dynamic EQ handling some room resonance [it was recorded with a handheld, sitting on a table, in a bar].

WHITE EQ was used in M/S mode to fill in some low energy [~2dB] for the SIDES, and FabFilter-2 EQ was used to tame a consistent room resonance [91.7 hz] in the RIGHT channel only.

The Chandly brought the whole mix together ... WITHOUT it even sounding like it was compressed.

SMOOTH... Dynamic ... Controlled

Thanks GANG for posting Your observations/comments on this library.

AlexB .... just another beautiful creation.
