if not
im not seeing what im gonna use it for, as we cant use our current nebula libraries for many instances at release
what i mean we can just open single eq libraries like we do in Neb3 instead of loading up a whole neb3 eq for example(all eq bands in one instance of neb4) at release
that is an feature that is gonna be added later i been told

so what can Nebula 4 do at release compared to Nebula 3 Ultimate ? :)

What Nebula should do with a emulation preset should be defined in the emulation preset.

That was not answering my question's :|

I was asking Will any 3rd party developer have a nebula 4 ready library at release day?

And what can Nebula 4 do at release compared to Nebula 3 Ultimate ?

Ask 3rd library developers

And what can Nebula 4 do at release compared to Nebula 3 Ultimate ?

We will announce Nebula4 features at the correct moment.

He was actually asking anyone that may know.

This reply from support oozes indifference, even arrogance.

Are you sure this is part of "support"? Sounds more like
"breaking customers' balls specialist who is being paid
to do so by customer dollars".

So lets try one more time. the question is:

can acustica audio verify that they have given early nebula 4
versions to 3rd party devs to have libs ready by launch time?

Possible (informative, respectful) answers:
1. no we have not
2. yes we have, it is developer x
3. let me find out and get back to you
4. we are legally prohibited (via NDAs)
from disclosing this info

which answer is it?

Nebula 4 libraries are the same as Nebula 3 libraries. The difference is with Nebula 4 you'll be able to have more Instances of a library in one Nebula insert. You'll also be able to mix and match different bands of eqs from different equalizers etc etc it's really not that complicated. Yall should dig a little deeper into the forums. Allot of good stuff here.

That's not completely true otherwise why would you think there are acqua plug-ins which can't be carried over to Core 7 without being sampled again? As Support mentioned, the library must be programmed to obbey certain tags which don't exist on any of them at the moment as far as I know. These tags take advantage of many improvements in Nebula 4 and libraries must support them. In short, they'll work out of the box so don't worry about it. In time, 3rd party developers will update them to support these new instructions.

libraries are exactly the same
Nebula4 engine (used in acqua plugins) is an extension of Nebula3 engine. One of main features is concurrency when you load inner instances, or "Core6/7" optimizations: more eq instances are collapsed to a single one using a new module named "vector sync" for transmission of data.

While server could handle the same nebula4 engine, at the end of the day you can load only a single instance unless you are loading a routed nebula (you could do it if you know how to do). But there is no control on that, you need a new gui. Nebula4 is a wrapper of nebula3, loads more of them connected among themselves, and this action at the moment is limited to acqua plugins because it could not be supported physically in other ways.

For a better arrangement of nebula4, several years ago (across 2011 and 2012) we chose a rack size for all new modules (as you can see all acqua plugins share the same horizontal size)

I have read a lot in these forums and to my knowledge running several instanses with current neb libs will not work on release with nebula 4
that is an option that is gonna be added at a later time im i correct ?

If im not remember it correct or Acustica has changed theyr mind,
can Acustica pleace verify this
Will we we be able to run several instanses of current neb libs in one instance of neb4 at neb4 release ?
as i dont want to read through a bunch of posts again to find proof, i can find it of course if i must
but it would be so much easier with a simple yes or no from Acustica

If i dont get a proper answer this time i take that as a ' no you can't

when we have to ask 3rd party developers our selves for neb4 ready libs at release that tells me that Acustica does not know

If nebula 4 can only run racks with aquas and single instanses of neb3 libs on release
it will be be a very uninteresting release

Well post 5 on side 4 in this thread indicates that running several neb 3 lib eq's instanses will maybe not be an feature at release, it was not as black and white as i thought, but it makes it very unclear if its a feature at release hehe

therfore it would be nice to have an answer from Acustica on this since we are not very far from Neb4 release :)
