Tim P Preview of updates to existing libraries

Postby Tim Petherick » Mon Dec 08, 2014 4:07 am

Hello,

Got some exciting stuff coming very soon.

All filters will be updated.

The ms10 filter synth that I made earlier in the year will be Updated to v2.

The library was probably one of the most sample intense projects I ever did. Every step needed to be measured with a frequency counter(bit like a guitar tuner)total samples was well over a 1000.Now the sonics are improved!

If you didn't see this release before its basically a famous synth filter. The main feature of the pack contains Evf controlled filters,

Cutoff,
resonance ,
attack,
release,
evf controller,
dry,
drive,

In positive and negative evf settings.

I basically built this from the ground up in order to understand the xml functions of nebula. Also the pack contains a manual setting with resonance and cutoff and I'll add a dry control, this means its excellent for getting the fattest bass drum sound while retaining the sonics. You gotta hear it!

Here are some clips of the evf controlled version-

Next up all reverbs will be updated to v2, I've improved a few things.. The detail is immense!

Here are some clips featuring the solid spring reverb panned (so you Isolate the signals) on one side and on the other side a compressor we've been working on!

I've been tuning this ms10 set-

Here is a experiment with reasynth, as you know this is as plain as a synth can be but what happens if you add a little hiss add ms10 evf filter and a bit of plain old reaper distortion?!

Dry file

On these ms10 affected files I'm changing the length of the release of the synth in order for ms10 to react to the change. In between every note you can hear the evf opening and closing very fast.

negative evf (sounds a little like a tb303?) here

positive evf here-

I think this is much more convincing than your average algo filter in terms of tone

and a little extra reverb from solid spring.
