Hi cps418,

Not this one, the problem with doing that in this particular library is that there would be too many settings to capture. The dynamic capture and 4 sample rates made this quite a long sampling session. It took a few weeks to sample. Plus I needed to keep cpu low as possible.

Hi Tim! great release I plan to buy it. when is the intro price over?

does that mean the HPF are also sampled dynamicaly? is there a big difference when sampling eq dynamicaly? I'm looking for a very colorful eq. would you say so? last questions is they shelf in low and high?

thank sa lot. cannot wait to use it on my next mixes :)

cheers

I wouldn't say it has lots of color. The output stage on this eq is so well made it's quite clean. The dynamics has a subtle effect on the sound but is worth it. Different input levels will give you different results.I like peaking around -10db
Hpf is dynamic yes. The Low and High are actually Bell. This means very tight low boost. Not combo high and low like the other library's, It was to hard to do like that this time.

I would say introduction price will finish in about a week...

Great EQ - Casts the right light on the right frequencies.

super nice, super tight lows but I find the overall is fantastic sounding

The detail is in the transient! I'll make some graphs tomorrow so we can see the low band.

Cheers

yes, transient response is amazing, and I'm conscious we are not talking about a compressor here, but a great EQ and probably the way you sample things.

keep up on sampling :)

Yes absolutly not compression :)

As you know kels the transient is not sharp you end having to keep adding more and more high end to compensate and then it ends up a complete mess (sludge, losing identity of the original instrument etc) when it's not there it's not there any more so when I sample I try to maintain that as well as possible. In mixing digital I usually end up take away highs. In the old days we were taking away lows more because of tape etc, well crap tape

Then again I've been playing with a j37 and it's actually amazing tech for it's age. It's working like it did in the 60's now , rather than a worn out old machine. With old scotch tape you get that beatles abbey road sound because the headroom is awful. With good tape it's high quality recorder.
