No sense question from 1.3.742. Nebula3 Server is CORE5 and can load N2V Acqua file. From last version upgrade you can use your Acqua plugins inside Nebula.

PS: Big new feature for free for Nebula3 Server customer.
Best regards,
Enrique Silveti.

ABOUT FIRST QUESTION

about nebula or acqua, the edge now is very undefined. It is an acqua plugin.

ANYWAY, starting from latest version of nebula, it is also a nebula library. We'll provide installers and instructions for that, in order to make it easy.

In nebula4 everything will be the same. An acqua plug-in will be ALSO a skinned library, so a library for nebula4 too. In nebula4 you can have skinned or textual libraries. In general skinned libraries will feature more instances inside, bundled in a single product.

An other benefit of skinned libraries is the auto-sample-rate feature. Loading blue eq you will have at the same time 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 Khz. Nebula4 will load the proper library, depending on your actual sample rate. At the moment nebula3 can't do it. But an acqua plugin is already doing it (acqua plugins are featuring the same engine you will find in nebula4)

ABOUT SECOND QUESTION
well... the name is not very important it, blue is just the color of this device, and it is not the color of the original device... but the shape maybe will help your search...

At first look, I'd say a C******r Curve Bender (part of it, of course) or Germanium Tone Control
