U76 has a internal setting for ahead which is approximately 0.720ms,this means the master ahead must be set above this value in order to make it work. Also low buffer settings will disturb the way the ahead works.

It's up to you, you could create to setups for the u76 ahead or non ahead or could just have one that covers both settings...

I got the U76, and Complex I will pick up on Thursday (forgot about the US to British Pound conversion). So I will haven both by weeks end and will just create one Nebula Setup version for each library. I set the tweaks like such for the Look Ahead presets:

<AHEADLENGTH> 1500 </AHEADLENGTH>
<DSPBUFFER> 1024 </DSPBUFFER>

And for the No Ahead I just used the standard Reverb XML as the baseline. When I pick up the Complex compressor I will use the same tweak.

Your ahead length should be much higher, according to Tim's specs (6ms if you do it through the mast page, which translates to:
<AHEADLENGTH> 5986 </AHEADLENGTH>
on the xml.

In his post above he recommends at least 1ms, so that is what I started with. But if there is no harm in going higher, then I'll go ahead and change the AHEADLENGTH to 5986.

It said at least 1ms. Other compressor presets benefit from going to 6 on the mast page. My understanding is that if the preset doesn't need it, having it set that way won't mess anything up. It's there if you need it. I just have so many dll's, I have all of my compressors set at 6ms in the mast page and have no problems.
