Looking for MAMMOTH EQ audio demo(s)

Postby leroik » Sat Jan 04, 2014 10:03 am

Wow, trying to find a demo of any kind for Mammoth EQ is like trying to find a hen with teeth.

Anyone know where I can hear Mammoth EQ in action? Especially the top end, like 10kHz boosted? Is there an HD video or high quality audio sample anywhere?

Thanks,

Hi,
here is a quick&dirty test (3minutes). Samples here are far from perfect but it will give you the situation in which we are all the time : we arrive at the studio, do some coffee, put the faders up and listen.
Just the Mammoth at the requested frequency and some GClip to prevent clipping.

note that samples are at 48kHz (orig tracks are) but Mammoth is native 44.1kHz so there are some internal resampling there and it may not represent the full quality you expect.

(link will be valid 10 days)
cheers

Hey, thanks for that. With the baseline I was also able to compare mammoth with other EQs. To my ears, Mammoth sounds a lot like Enhanced EQ (a tube EQ VST from Native Instruments) but with more tube drive. Thanks again.

Just buy the damn thing

You won regret it ;) It probably sounds like the best tube EQ you could actually get with money

I have no idea of how close does it sound to the hardware but for very little money you'll get an amazing tool.
I bought it last monday and i'm totally amazed of how good it sounds.

Hi everyone,

I can offer you to process your audio for demonstration purposes (for ex. Mammoth EQ and EAR) and link it via soundcloud and facebook.
I do this, because I want more diversity on the audio examples - people could be fooled by only one example.

Audio must be licence-free and you must hold all rights on it, so that analoginthebox.com can use it without any problems!

Everyone who is interested in this, please send me your audio to mirco@analoginthebox.com and I will pre-select what is coming in.

If there is enough material, I will upload the processed audio-files to the mentioned platforms.

Thanks!
