A classic dynamically sampled 18v operation guitar eq.
The program comes with Treble,Bass and a output control to avoid clipping nebula. Color boost is sampled dynamically, so it has a very 3d sound to it. As you see from the graphs on my website you can get a huge treble boost! That almost can sound like a filter when the bass is at 0.
Color boost comes in 4 sample rates 96, 88.2, 48 and 44.1 khz with 10 kernals of distortion in each.
TREBLE AND BASS Pre/eq is the first in a series of colored presets for Nebula and this first release we have a vintage tube amp.
The presets have Treble and Bass controls , this reflects the amp.Input(GDRIVE) and SATURATION(Harmonic level) controls are on each preset. Tube amp Eq is capable of a good amount of drive for Nebula ,the distortion character comes from a Mullard ECC83/12ax7 input tube, this is followed by the Eq section. The eq section boosts up to 20db of Treble and Bass! This is a tone shaper!. If your trying to give single track that analog edge this is a quick way to get there. It can be used for mixing,or it could be used for what it was originally intended for which is a Pre/eq for guitar/instrument before going into a poweramp/cab preset. Doubling up on instances can give you a good amount of drive. These are my most colored presets to date but still with the transparent tight sampling quality!!!
Input(GDRIVE) and SATURATION(Hamonic level) controls on each preset. Presets come in mono stereo and stereo processing , normal and High quality.
sampled with Mytek convertors.
only £5 per sample rate and £12 for all 4 sample rates(no src)
TIP on use; set the eq the way you wish then lower the output to match original level if needed , do this before trying to drive the preset . If you wish to play with input and sat controls start with input first, this is more of a natural representation use of the hardware
Latest n2p files - Hq presets improved! Original release presets and updated dynamic presets named 3D in the menu.
There is a before an after FLAC file in the .zip, try a-b'ing it looping.
It could be even more distorted, but I tried to make the sound how I wanted it.
The standard preset with bass and treble all the way down does add a small smile curve with about 2db extra bass and treble. I just added another 1dB bass in this example and ramped up the distortion to taste. I used the HQ stereo version... what do you think?
