Ok,

First tests are looking really good on the preamps.

It's only going to need 5kernals to cover the harmonics. Even though it's low on distortions it sound's incredible when you push it, Really tightening up the sound! It's flat across the frequency plot but still adds mojo!

should finish soon!

Price of elc24 v2 will be going up after preamps are added. It's £14 now and will be £17 after upgrades. Anyone who has bought elc24v2 before the upgrade will get the preamps for free!!!

Super 4 sample rate bundle will be only £35

Very cool Tim! I have a possibly dumb question....
I understand the preamp presets when that IS the library, like a mojo set of Henry's. Something to impart a flavor of something like an eq. But if I have an eq preset already, can't I still get the flavor of the hardware, like a preamp preset, by loading any of the eq band presets and just not changing any parameter? What is so different about sampling it as a preamp?

Hi Richie,

The high and low shelf is sampled dynamically already which should cover the tone forthe most part But the pres are sampled over a wider range in this case.

You can push the pre's harder in this example and get a touch more saturation. It's subtle...but it's slightly more involving sounding.
Edit; I should rephrase saturation. I mean more harmonics

I thinks it's still useful in certain situations.
