Postby Tim Petherick » Fri Aug 30, 2013 12:47 am

Hi guys, I want to do a demonstration for a new compressor. If anyone has something that comes close to the sound of Johns playing please let me know.Clips need to be dry , possible just overheads or a room mic sound. Final wet clips will be posted on this thread.

Thanks,
Tim

I've just come back to this compressor.

I was going to release a while back but I held off for revision.

It's working very well now, so should not be much longer! :D

I feel now the clips above don't do it justice any more. I will post some new ones...

It's been quite hard trying to get it all working one instance but I feel it's sounding right now. I need to make a few tweaks and it should be ready for release.

Few weeks

I've updated the sound clips.

Notice the lack of wobble for huge gain reduction

On slow attack it starts to sound like a expander!

Excuse my excitement..

Yeah, this is crazy.

Tim, any comments on it's accuracy to the real thing?
