ADQ and ARQ are different. But how they perform depends on the sound sources. ARQ seems having more punch and sheen on upper mid. ADQ has more warmth. But it just rough comparison on vocals and electric piano since my old project is CPU-overloaded with too much nebula.

As they say, this would be comparing apples to oranges. The Hardware that these were sampled form are very very different beasts. My suggestion to anyone when asked "which library to buy?", or even better, "Which library is best?"......Pick one, buy it, use it and get used to it in your own work. When you are ready to buy another, repeat these steps. I am not trying to be sarcastic or "snarky", there are so many amazing choices in the Nebula emulation world, I honestly can not think of a bad choice any more, just different choices.
How does it compare to the 295b. Like richie you can not compare it soundwise it is a matter of taste. I only use electronic drumsamples and most of the time vst-instruments, maybe the combination of the audiosource with this eq just sounds great. I just do not know.
What you get extra is the line, mic inputs and the option to upgrade it to a standalone vst effect which is a big plus for me!
