Nebula Lo-FI Programs

Postby deehope » Sat Feb 16, 2013 10:52 pm

Just wondering what programs that nebula has that are similar to the digidesigns Air Vintage filter? Something for turning the sounds slightly lo-fi? Thanks

I do not know of any lofi filters, but the wollensack in the reel to reel from cds sounds lofi to me.... but maybe there are some less-fi programs out there.

Alex B has awesome Vintage Synth Filters and Vinyl libraries.. vinyl is not a filter library but there are two vinyl presets that sound very lo fi and very natural at the same time ;)
Eric has some nice filters too.. and oldschool samplers textures

Thanks guys for the replies. I actually have used the wollensack for this purpose on some strings before. I also purchased the vinalyzer from alexb a couple weeks back. I was looking more for a filter type thing.

take a look at the stuff from cupwise.
the tuberadios, etc.
there is definitely some lofi character in these programs.

not only the filtering characteristics, but the the distortion and dynamic behaviour will add to that.

i only have the tube fm1 programs and the cassette deck 2 .

ask him directly, what you expect to get audiowise and he will sure get back to you.

there is also a freebie, he did for the kvr developer challenge 2012, which is great too. it is a tuberadiothingy ...

look at his website
http://www.cupwise.com/cup/
