StradiPad : 1st listening test

Postby AlexB » Tue Feb 05, 2013 12:46 am

Magic happens when excellences meet together.

Think to Stradivari, the absolute better string instrument...
Think to analog days, the absolute warm and vibey sound...
Think to transformers, tubes, oscillating circuit...
Think to innovative sound improvement by Volterra technology...

Now mix italian technologies by Crumar Performer, by AlexB circuitry and sampling, and by Acustica technology to process Stradivari sounds with ONE innovative stand-alone plugin.

ABBA preset as little demo:

Dry
SolidState
Tube

Your impressions will be welcome 8-)

Both of the sound clip sounds awesome.

The solidstate have a nice wide and presence to it while the tube have a nice smooth open sound.

Reckon this gonna be a AU/VST/RTAS plugin?

Also, when will this available?

The solid state seems more pristine with more separation of notes and clarity while the tube has a sweeter more characterful flavour. The dry sounds synthetic but seems to blossom into something much more under the influence of the processing. Very Nice!

I love the tube version, very rich and 3D. Is this a processor, or a VSTi?

How many lives did you kill to bring all that life to that track? :D

The Solid State and the Tube version sound so much alive and vibrant than the dry one.

Tell us something more! :P

I like the tube processed track.
It seems to glue the strings together better and sounds like it would sit in a track better when it came to mixing.

Also a bit more depth with the tubes I reckon.
