if we have to go to a copy protection model with Nebula - then I support that solution. As long as it is fairly simple - and works - its ok.

Doesnt refx Nexus use some Kind of copyprotection where u cannot use cracked libraries weithin a legit copy of the soft? Maybe u should contact other Devs about their methods? U-HE comes to mind. I remember Urs saying he is willing to Share his approach. As a U-HE Satin user i can say that his Method is anything but annoying to the user and at the Same time pretty powerfull as it seems.

Thank you for the information. We already have a library anti copy system. Anyway Ill ask to Rob @ U-he about it.

ok, I've contacted many hosters and there abuse account, other will follow.

These #+*"/& also have made bad copies of libraries which doesn't exist in the way they have uploaded it! :x
So these are more or less useless and have nothing to do
with the orginal releases on our website. That's the only good point so far from our side, I don't know about the other dev's.

Sunny, a user on AudioZ, seems to be one of the biggest Nebula pirates. They all have 'Team MAGNETRiXX' at the end of the name (which might very well be him/her).

Definitely a good idea to try and strike a deal (or plead!) with AudioZ and Magesy to see if they can exclude Nebula libraries from the sites... It's having such a negative effect on a grass roots community, maybe they will have mercy.

You can PM Sunny here:
http://audioz.eu/index.php?do=pm&doacti ... user=58813

or mail here:
http://audioz.eu/index.php?do=feedback&user=58813

Just found out Sunny is known as iamcameran on Magesy and he's doing the same stuff there.

This is a rather hypocritical message on one of Sunny's posts:

CDSoundMaster Custom Valve EQ For Nebula Pro-MAGNETRiXX has been exclusively released on AudioZ by Sunny who chose to ask not to post mirrors.
Please respect the uploader's choice.

It seems AudioZ and Sunny are very much leading the Nebula piracy (they're releasing exclusives). Need to try and get through to AudioZ and make it a Nebula free zone.

SAiNT is the administrator and can be contacted here (including DMCA requests)
http://audioz.eu/contacts.html

A nice polite email explaining the impact this is having on Nebula as a whole could be a good start. Positivity and politeness definitely the way to go!

Sorry, wasn't meaning to be patronizing.

Here's a bit more info from AudioZ DMCA page:

Otherwise, we only respond to take-down notices sent by the developers themselves, preferably from an e-mail on their own domain.

It's worth a go.

May Sunny soon meet his darkest days and may any website he encountereth suffer the vengeance of a million swift arrows (approaching at such a rate and frequency as to cause a denial of service attack).
