Skins

I bet this is noobish, but I'm stuck...

I have quite a decent collection of 3rd party libraries now, and some devs like Alexb go to the trouble of creating great skins. I'd like to use them, but when I put them in the appropriate folder I only get one skin for everything. I'm not at my music pc right now to check but is it the 'skins' folder? Anyway, I put them all in the same folder, which is surely why Nebula can't differentiate what skin goes where. I want to skin various libraries such as Alex's differently. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

You can use Zabukowsky`s Nebula setup to generate a separate Nebula instance with the skin you want for a specific library

You should make a copy of Nebula (both plugin and xlm file) e rename them exactly with the same name (for instance "NebWhatsup.dll" and "NebWhatsup.xml). Than you can open the xml file with a test editor and change the skin name. :)

i would also recommend zabukowskis tool, as it will give you the option to choose the programs you want to see in the new nebula it will create for you.

mathias
system 1: windows 8 32 bit - samplitude prox, tracktion6, reaper
system 2: mac osx yosemite - reaper(32+64bit), tracktion6(32+64bit)

both systems on: macbook pro (late 2009), core 2 duo 3,06 ghz, 4 gb ram, graphic: nvidia geforce 9600M GT 512 MB

Nebula .DLL will call .XML file, that file is the MAST page from MAST section in Nebula. In The .XML file you will find the path for your Skins and the file name. check it inside Nebula > MAST page or open MAST page .XML file in a notepad or similar text editor.
