Once the wet levels were matched they sounded really close to me, close enough to use as temps in the composing stage at least and maybe I will render with the real thing in the final mix. The real thing is maybe a bit more "enveloping". But I really had to pay close attention to tell a difference.

The really wet long tail stuff seems to match better with Nebula. I've been having more issues with the shorter dryer room stuff with the Bricasti.

Let me know what you think.

I've downloaded these two preset. They sound incredible.

At this point I'm looking forward to see the new release, that one Henry and Michael are working on.

Did you have any problem (except the rooms), Animus, to sampling the Bricasti? If I'm not wrong they are saying it's not easy. I don't know how close we are the the real thing but the sound of those two preset is really full, wonderful.

I'm trying them on a snare, right now, they sound just right.

Great job. :) Are you planning to make any other presets? :)

Thanks a lot!

Can you try offline sampling in true stereo mode and then replay it in Nebula using 2 instances?

Thank you for the Presets, It's great having 44.1kHz M7 presets.

I've had a quick listen comparing the sunset preset to the samplicity IR (mono to stereo). I think that the Nebula version sounds more "alive" (which is good) but also a bit grainy. For some reason, the Nebula reverb seems less solid and less natural. I've had the same experience with reverbs I sampled myself and compared to the source.

What does seem to help is switching the Env type from RMS 17 to EVF (EDIT/More/EVFS). It sounds smoother and better to my ears. I wonder if it's closer to the M7..

Timed reverb would help for off-line rendering.
More solid to me.

Just compared to impulse responses in Logics "Space Designer" (can't remember who did them) and to me there is no comparison. The Animus/Nebula version is infinitely more alive and 3d.

Makes me realise why I never used those impulse responses.

thanks guys.

I only did 44.1kHz because that's what I work in all the time.

I have the Samplicity irs and they sound nice but when I got the real M7 I realized they weren't accurate in terms of sound. The ir's are really bright compared to the real unit, at least in my experience.
