Yes I have to correct myself on program rate actually , I'm finding 2ms is more open , then add ahead if you want to go even faster. If you go up to 88.2 you'll get even faster attack capturing most of the rise on the transient. Try it on drums! This compressor's reduction is very accurate when Nebula is set right.

Of course this is annoying and uses more cpu . I've always used between 128-512 because of sound.

Interesting thing on the vm-comp but.... if you load vm comp's global page go to Rate and pull it down to min setting when in 128 buffer size , press save. The rate is saved slow by dev . You'll get better attack at 128 now.


Edit- Buffer only effects Freqd player not timed mode.

P.s this is a experimental compressor, if you are finding its reducing gain when the threshold is at 0, remember I sampled this to learn more about compression.

Next Compressor will probably be a VCA classic!
