Thanks Mathias, I'm having a lot of fun with it. What I try to do now is create presets that I need for current projects- so when I need a small speaker sound I make a new preset etc. That way I know I have a good solution next time I need it and can share it.
Added an B&O Beomaster 901 hifi amplifier (1974). Following a request from "Bluseman" to sample an hifi loudness button, I decided to sample an old Bang & Olufsen amplifier I've had lying around for years. It doesn't actually have a loudness button, but I remembered it always sounded like it had one (being on all the time). Looking at the sub-bass response, I now understand why it made my speakers rattle when I used it:

This amplifier is also my last preset for the time-being (going on vacation). When I'm back I'll start planning my first commercial release...
The dual traces shown in the B&O graph ... are these the Left & Right channels ???
Why the difference ?
Hi, yes- it's a stereo preset. The reasons for the big difference are age, quality and lack of service. It's a 37 year old consumer-grade amplifier, that hasn't been used in a very long time. I was very happy it was still working
I think it can be useful as an interesting coloration tool- not something I would use on very sensitive material. Still, if you want an identical response for both channels, after loading the preset go to "kernel" and press on "mono-L" (upper right corner) and then save.
