In particular, I A/B'd several of my NEB units, and found the Gemini KultComp to have a nice open and smooth sound. Only have the 6:1 ratio demo, I was only able to get a sense of the way it treated this mix ... really had to have something around a 2:1 ratio ... so ... just now purchased ;)

I didn't expect 3 separate files to download, but I grabbed them ... now getting ready to get this installed !

However ... this install has several folders that need to be navigated ... no auto installer

Reading through the manual, there looks to be instructions for customizing a NEB copy to utilize the advanced features. I'll look to do that.

Once I get this up and running, I'll try to post back with impressions on this.

Wish me luck on getting all these files moved without missing any :?

The library installers didn't work reliably so i had to remove them for now.

This is an incredible compressor! I've been using Nebula for about 4-5 months now and I use it extensively for it's preamps, EQs, saturators, etc. I own quite a few Nebula comp libraries from other developers and while they are nice for analog tone or for slow, gentle compression, they really do not behave like "normal" compressors. I produce electro and house and I often need quick attacks with loads of gain reduction. This is the first Nebula compressor that can handle real heavy compression, all while imparting an incredible, open, clean analog sound. Comparing this A/B to my algorithmic plugs makes me angry - angry I wasted so much time using inferior plugins! This thing smacks and compresses like the real thing and I haven't heard anything this good ITB. This is a must have IMO for any Nebula owner!

Is there a way you could break down the library for a lesser price. like "soft combo" mixed with a few other presets. I know i wont be using all of the presets, so i'll be paying for way more than i am using.

According to the manual, there is supposed to be some line amp programs.

But I didn't see any in the files?

Contact Gemini Audio. They just released and update that includes the line-amp for those who didn't get it.

The LineAmp was missing in the updated version. A new update containing the LineAmp as well as other great new stuff is uploading right now.

The "KultComp" has been updated. All programs are now available in PEAK detection mode (faster reaction) and EVF 17 detection mode (regular). Also the AHEAD values have been improved and new "NL" programs (Nebula Compressor Lite) programs were added. They only use a small fraction of the "NC" version's CPU usage. These programs don't react quite as fast as the "NC" versions but a lot faster than the regular programs.
