CDSoundMaster Vintage Tube Collection Version 2.0 !

Postby cdsoundmaster » Fri Sep 09, 2011 9:53 pm

Hi everyone,

We are pleased to announce the release of Vintage Tube Collection Version 2.0.

With this new release, there are 36 new programs recorded at 96kHz, including a new collection of programs of a vintage Mullard M8136! Several days were devoted to recalibrating the Source Plus to make the best use of the widest frequency spectrum.

All of the original programs are still included in the collection as well.

The price remains the same as before, and previous customers can receive a discount; just email us.

Customers of the original Vintage Tube Collection receive this update for Version 2.0 for free! If you have not received your email, just write us with your email address that was used to purchase the original Vintage Tube Collection.

We hope that you enjoy these new programs!
Thanks so much and God Bless You

WOW! this release brought back some audio-memory's :mrgreen:

VTC was the first library I bought! (mangel was very helpful in the process, I was a student learning audio-engineering back then)

Still today; when a vocal needs any sort of enhancing (nebula or not) I open these librarys before I try an eq...and almost always it does the trick ;)

My first intention was using it for mastering back then and the sound I got from ITB was recognized by all my friends. Today I have more options but I still find myself using them (ever tried multiband? ;))

Personally I find Nebula to sound specially good with tube devices. I'm simply more curious when any release is tube based and I bet this library will also sound wonderful in a preamp (or maybe say console as its the hype these days) fashioned way.

More kernels...More options...can't wait to try! 8-)

Tried these new programs last night and was very pleased when chaining a few together.

A question for Michael, Has the original tubes been changed/enhanced at all or is it only the 96k additions?

Thanks.
Forthcoming releases on: Black Heart Label, Hyperdrive and Transfixion. http://soundcloud.com/100mg. 6 FREE Downloads on my soundcloud page. Nebula ALL over these trax!

What more is there to say about this library than the "Wow" factor being present with a big "W"?!! This lib has a lot of character, or can be more subtle based on how you use / drive it - simply love the tube character it creates, and the presets are very - very usable!

These new 96kHz programs are like a perfect breed. The 44.1kHz library was good but the amount of reality in this update is impressive, sounds too close to real tubes. All my favorite devices use tubes and it's unbelievable to hear this coming out of a computer.

Try using these programs right before your clean compressor and you'll hear nice things :)

This and Tube Boosters are truly fantastic...Michael's meticulous recreations are truly realistic and unique and a benchmark for Nebula libraries.

Anyone who was attracted to Nebula for it's abilities to simulate analog characteristics should have both of these (along with most of Michael's Nebula offerings) on their 'must have' list ;-)

...Or just a good human-being;
whenever I have questions about certain processes like
tube bias, voltage, tape saturation, etc, I receive a reply
in my mailbox with information you can read 20 times
over again for 2 hours! This guy really takes time for his customers;
I wonder if he sleeps at all! :mrgreen:
I'm still being amazed by the overwhelming support within
the whole Nebula-community every day.
Damn, I'm starting to sound like a hippy.
