Check Alexb's facebook for the picture of this unit.

The files: (229MB)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9609516/Hollywood%20Undead%20Bullet%20Remix%20Contest%20GMD%20on%20%26%20off.rar

96KHz/32bit mastering with/without GMD.
GMD ratio 2:1 beta version
attack 25ms, release 0.22s
About 3.5~4dB gain reduction at loudest passage.

It's a remix contest hosted by
http://www.indabamusic.com/opportunities/hollywood-undead-bullet-remix-contest
I mixed it with nebula all over the place. 4KD, MWD, CLCpro, BMQ, PTQ, 1084, GEQ.
The remix is more complex than the origainal with lots of added elements. So it's less punchy and direct than hollywood undead's original mastering which is quite good.

GMD adds quality weight and polished sound on the final mastering. I tried 10dB gain reduction on the same song and GMD maintained its transparency quite well. Really amazing mastering compressor!

My submission is before AlexB's first beta program, so only you nice Nebula fellows could hear the GMD version. I'm exicted to share with you guys what GMD coudl do. If you appreciate my work or like it, please vote for me on indabamusic.

I got the 44.1KHz beta which usually means the release is very close.

Although it's a mastering compressor not a squashing machine, I know the first thing people try to do with a limiter. Let's squash it!!

Here's the result in 44.1KHz.
Drumbus GMD on is at the setting:
GMD Limiter, .25 sec attack, .1sec release, AHEAD=1.5ms, Gain Reduction is around 14dB.
The GMD ON file is not level matched to avoid clipping.

Hear the explosive sound for yourself.

And thank you for voting me in the 1st post.
