Yes, 2 years ago we were waiting for compressor support, but Giancarlo worked on many different things. When the CoreII engine finally was finished I already had sold my C******r LTD-2. We will remove it from our homepage soon and announce the "Fate Compressor".

Today we'll finish sampling after a very long sampling period. It will take a lot of time to tune everything in the right way. It is a tough job. NAT is your friend, but not your sample-robot! It reminds me a bit of the first days of Nebula where we had no NAT, but command line tools for deconvolving and editing everything manually in XML-files. :D

Will this run on the core2 engine or will we have to wait until the core3 engine is available? Cant beleive my drum buss will see some REAL 2254 love! Fabtastic

We are sampling curve shapes, but with CoreII actually we are using times "only".
I am not sure what will be introduced in CoreIII engine. Maybe Nebula will use the shape of curve for envelope follower? He planned to implement it.

Compressor = H1[EA time][ER time]..Hx[EA time][ER time].
Preamp = H1..Hx" So you could say in words: For Nebula a compressor is a timed preamp, running at a fast progr rate.

Time for Giancarlo to shed some light on CoreIII :mrgreen:

really CoreII supports shapes, but I didn't check them very well, it's possible we have bugs and I discourage to use them. We'll support them officially in Core3. Core3 will feature other interesting things, but the new features are a secret.

The few programs I've used that are sampled compressors are pretty cool in conjunction with clean digital comps. The real deal will be off the chain!

Can't wait for Core III n' some kompressors.
