Maybe, but for me the effect is not that prominent in a busy mix, and you can achieve same-ish sound from quite a few delays with filters in their loop. nasty-dla comes to mind. I think i'll try it out on vocals next time.
It could be great for delay purists :)

i cant seam to get it working, i only get a super granulized sound rather than delay

are you using senderella? you have to insert a clean delay inside the loop, otherwise you only get nasty feedback, or very short delay caused by the plugin's latency.
i used a simple delay with 100% wet, and no feedback, cause you will set that by the output level.

Set first senderella to return, last to send, and both to channel 1, and pass-through. Insert between a 100% wet delay with no feedback, and a low latency nebula instance.
I also added a Nasty VCS plugin just before the last Senderella, only using it's input saturation.
