Also, for dramatic and more noticeable effect try ratio of 10:1

Thanks for the suggestion I upgraded before i tried the library....the latest version is the one with the new env mode right?

I'm using the osx version. I am not in the studio now but I'm struggling to see how any of the above with affect how the programs behave in terms of audible compression?

Yes, latest version is 1.3.492. The settings will not have much effect on the compressors behavior, I just wanted to make you aware of new default recommended settings

nope just tried it again. I can not get the Bus comp to compress hard (not that i want to I just to hear it working) no matter what i do-this is with the threshold hold turned fully down, 10:1 attack 3ms release 40ms and the gain reduction is reading -18. With similar settings in the Glue as you work expect the compressor is working it like crazy. Am i doing something wrong or is there a mistake with the library?
I am working at 44.1 and using the latest Nebula i downloaded today-its the only one with the EVF 17 mode?

Just checked yes its the latest version for OSX AU.

No you are right. Nebula GR is still odd, you can measure into VST plug-in analyser but now Nebula attack and release are very accurate.

Yes its the metering. Its totally off, not even close or the threshold control seems to have much more effect at the mid way point? I'll hold my hands up if this is user error

I did a test with The Glue in direct comparison with buss compressor at 10:1, att 1, and rel 0.6 and can confirm that there is a significant difference between the two. The Glue "pumps" much harder.

okay this gets stranger. I just tried it on another project that had no Nebula plugins. Put the GC on the output bus as first plug, 4:1 and the compression is very noticeable, if i want it to it will now pump.

Can someone else test this?

Hot digity gwan jimbles! nice comp!! shame i aint got no cash for a while when i wack the bus comp over a mix the bass drum distorts a bit is that normal or is that just me using it like n00b?

I bought and installed the library, the same thing happens here.
I adjusted the input volume, but then again you have to pull down the treshold even further to achieve compression.
For now, I can only compress with 2dB gain reduction, if I compress harder, I also get distortion, usually with bass-heavy sources.
Is there a reason for this? I hope it's being solved pretty soon.
Other than that, it sounds fantastic!
Finally an ITB comp that shapes the transients, and preserves the frequencies like it should! (Well, apart from the distortion issue, that is).

I noticed that Input gain and Output gain meter does not work in the Prog page
