Finally got to try out the demo, it sounds great to me. I will buy the library this week and give it a more thorough spin but so far I'm putting this in the "this is why I love Nebula compressors even if they aren't 100% perfect yet" category.
The GR meters I never thought/realized that you need to use the EVF metering mode, that's a good tip. Here's a question: does Nebula store the metering mode globally per XML/DLL or per program? Would be nice to be able to assign EVF metering only to the programs which need it. The 7 VU mode is definitely not accurate in terms of GR, if you find the spot right before the meter starts showing GR and then turn the threshold up from there you'll hear it get noticeably louder. I don't see that as a huge problem, personally, as I've always used GR meters as a very rough guide anyway (almost an activity meter, really) and that's how I'm used to the other Nebula compressors working because I've also been using the wrong metering mode on them.
Of course one can always go with a different Nebula_Comp DLL/XML (and there are apparently other advantages to doing so) for instantiating compressors.
the bus comp-is it INCREDIBLY transparent? Not that i want to but i just tried setting it as extreme as i could and i cant get any pumping or "over compression" Is this how the real unit is? At conservative settings im not 100% sure its actually doing anything. The channel comps and LMC are pretty obvious but the Bus comp sounds too transparent. Am i missing something?

The Group Compressors do not appear to be operational at all. In fact I'm not sure any of these work, other than the LMC! NO gain reduction is happening at all, audibly or visually with any of these presets. WTF and I'm confused by others who can hear these presets working, how can anyone hear these 4KD presets doing anything?
EDIT: UPDATE! I upgrade my Nebula3PRO to 1.3.492 for MAC OSx and they seem to be working!

the channel comps do work on a snare, i could re-shape the transient of the hits so they were more puncht, but im not 100% they are working fully on some more constant sources like acoustic gtr or bass, cant figure out whether i am imagining it or not? When i turn down the threshold its almost like simply turning down the audio......raising the make up gain to make the level and they turning on and off doesnt seem to have any audible compression going on?
Guys, did you upgrade to the latest version of Nebula first? Then set your MAST page to Rate CNV = 500 (if 96Khz), Gui refresh = 30, DSPBUFFER = automatic if your host is VST and supports setbuffersize otherwise 2048, L FREQ D = 6 seconds
Also, for dramatic and more noticeable effect try ratio of 10:1
