I'm eagerly waiting for my newly purchased Nebula3 Pro activation code, however. Is Nebula2 the culprit?
Ah that might be the problem with Snap too (from the other thread).
Analoginthebox lists Neb3Pro as a system requirement for Snap Compressor; however Alex's manual says either Neb2 or Neb3 so I'm not sure about the 4KD. ETA: Per what Mercado_Negro is saying, Alex may want to just update the system requirements in the manual.
Once you get Neb3Pro going you should be good to go I would hope.

I'm running this amazing demo with the latest Nebula update and having the same bass distortion issue. It sounds great otherwise!
User Manual fixed, I have forgotten to change the System Requirements for compressors.
The N**e 5043 is a new unit bought for sampling BUT I have seen some improvements like better caps and ICs (oh yes, I have spoken about this with Rupert N**e Designs and he agree ), using stabilized professional power supply. Results: more wide and deep stereo image
If the bass distorts try to enter with a lower level, if you go over 0dBVU you drive the stages.
I want to say it again: Nebula doesn't emulate perfectly the compressor yet, the plugin will be improved, but to my ears it still sound better than any other plugin.
