AlexB: Modern Black Console PRO and Vintage Black eQ PRO

Postby AlexB » Fri Apr 30, 2010 6:54 pm

Hello, finally I have reopened the website. During this month more releases will be available from the oldest upgraded to PRO, at the newest vintage consoles, EQs and more.
(Every console will be in bundle with his EQ).

All the best

Alex

So the MBC PRO EQ will be released in the near future

I wonder how does the console EQ sound compared to Vintage Black eQ PRO

The A*I 1608 (MBC) comes with 12 550A and 4 560 in their 16 channels so the VBQ IS the console EQ. He says 'will be in bundle' because you can purchase both the MBC and the VBQ and get a discount (50 EUR), instead of just buying the EQ or the Console separate.

You are right. The Black Master eQ PRO (modern API5500) will coming soon but it is a mastering EQ, not a console EQ, but of course you can use in mixing with great results.
Initially I sold this EQ with the MBC but now we have the original vintage console EQ. 8-)
Customers with BMQ will can upgrade for free to BMQ-PRO.

Now we return in topic

VBQ-PRO is a new product and not an unpgrade, it is the vintage unit, not the actual unit in the console... I think that this is a better deal 8-)

About MBC-PRO: the MixBuss Vintage preset is the mixbuss-summing-amp-unit, by vintage console from '70, that I have electrically patched into the modern console with a switch to change from modern to vintage sound. We have this option in the library 8-)

ok ... I guess I'm dull today ... so here goes ...

Is the 'Vintage Black eQ PRO' a new release ??? [and
I not talking about the date :) ... or is this now
a replacement library ??

All the 'modern, vintage, black, tube' etc has my
head spinning.

I last remember buying every AlexB library BEFORE the
PRO release.

If ya can make ANY sense of my confusion ... please
shine the light
