I've done a bit of beta-testing for this library, so I'm probably not completely unbiased. Still, I think it sounds very good. You do have to take care to gain stage properly since some of the presets (the -18&-20 ones) will distort very badly if you drive them to the extreme (above say -4&-6dB accordingly). When comparing to the R2R library, the -10 presets are probably the closest in terms of gain-staging.

Quick DEMO/Export of a drum mix I'm currently dealing with. I've placed the 15ips program on all drum channels & the 30ips on the bus.

yep. sounds terriffic. a810 is not as "thick" as the r2r revox preset (ive only got the demo) - good for the stereo bus

Mellows out the high-end weird sizzle that can happen ITB and gives things a nice WOMP!

Hi Eric, a problem here, when I patch your tape preset, audio seems not pass through it, nebula output and input are set to 0 and no process is happening, and samplitude get collapsed so I have to reboot my computer. I´m using 1.3.478 version.

Greetings

Old thread, but any update on possibly sampling the A820? Mmmmm, drums.

A 2" a820 is in the cue with a few other devices. I currently have some music, a few mastering projects, & a hardware line taking most of my time.
