Eric, does that mean that other samplers can be sampled properly ?

If yes, bring them in !

Not sure about the ringing on the melodic examples...

It's a tedious manual process, but possible. I have a great little Akai s20 that can do 32/16/8hz. Great sounding..

I think your hearing the crap soundcload conversion. You can download the actual .wav as well.

I think there's a good amount of Hip Hop/Electronic Music workers here now, that show interest for "vintage" units(the big thread about "old" sampler sampling by SWAN if I remember...)


That said what happened to the soundcloud clips ?

yeah Ive been asking for this - better get my wallet out!!! 8-)

EDIT - I did download the clips and the musical ones do have a strange ringing to them-not sure if thats the machine or the difficulties in sampling it...still nice for crunchy drums which is what I wanted it for the first place...
