I have to bring this up again:

Mammoth EQ and the expansion are THE coolest tools for nebula to me. The way this thing opens up the mids and highs is amazing. I couldn't live without it, really!

Smile1 of the expansion is king on the mixbuss. When I bypass it, I always have the impression there's a blanket over my monitors LOL! Impossible with other EQ's, especially if you dont want the peak signal to jump out so much.

This EQ made me understand the "passive-ness" more than anything before...

Top notch!

i agree... the expansion pack feels a bit like "cheating" to me.. it just works so damn well!
when i put the "smile2" program on, the mix just opens up brilliantly, i love it. and this "27khz" band is lifting cymbals to another place.
for me it's that one and the geq by cdsoundmaster. if you give me one surgical digital eq (i use equality) to that, ALL my equalizing needs are covered.
great times for great tone!

hey, i love it too :) best mastering eq yet i think, but i have not tried all the cdsoundmaster ones...

there is a small problem that effects boosts of transient material, like the doc fear. check the attached examples of a strange echo that can appear.

i remember reading the same about the doc fear and that it didnt really matter :?

Hi David,
if this issue appears:
Go to "KERN" page, reduce the length of H1 kernel (right column, 1st row "Clean":) to 100ms or even 50ms.
Issue fixed then.

No, not for all programs of this eq or even all eq's! Just in particular case when you have the issue as described above!

Anyway:

Yes, it's coming after next release.
Oh, well- we should not call it "fix" but "upgrade": LESS CPU/RAM usage, but more reliable. ;)
