Speaking of the Snap Comp attack and release are adjustable.

I also was under the impression from reading the manual that release and attack settings were variable in the RTE + programs.
The programs are also showing odd attack settings such as 16.50ms and .55ms which are not even shown in the manual.
The snap compressor requires a nebula 3 pro licence as well.
When i get home from work im going to revert back to a default skin and see if that works

Just bought and installed this and am doing a couple quick tests on old mixes. So far I'm impressed with the sound - great job AITB team!

Still not having much luck with settings adjustments. In mast the nebula version is 1.3.464. Tried different skins but im still unable to alter attack or release.

So speaking of let's say 2:1 SF you can't change release from 100 to 300?

The only settings that I have available for the RTE + programs are:
10:1 SF+ attack 15.50 ms, release 0.2 s
10:1 SS+ attack 15.50 ms, release 0.9 s
2:1 SF+ attack 16.50 ms, release 200 ms
2:1 SS+ attack 16.50 ms, release 0.9 s
4:1 SF+ attack 16.50 ms, release 200 ms
4:1 SS+ attack 16.50 ms, release 0.9s

I cant change any of these and they aren't even in the manual.
Do you think it makes a difference that ive got all the above in the programs folder but they are not in the vectors folder shown as + vectors?

I haven't tried the RTE + programs. According the manual attack and release must be adjustable:

"Example:
Using the “SnapCmp 2:1 SF+” program you could dial in to 1-30ms attack time and 100-300ms release time. The program rate is running at a faster rate than by default."

Im really confused. the ff program has attack 0.1ms, 0.3ms, 1ms. But in the manual it says attack time of 0.3ms cannot be achieved. I guess its a limit with nebula, but then why have the fast program to begin with?

It also says Programs marked by “+” use shorter kernels to achieve a faster program
rate. But the attack time is between 1ms and 30ms and therefore the same as the slower program.

Does this mean that none of the S and F program can have attack time as fast as 0.1ms - 30ms without the + program?

So far I use 10 and 30ms attack without RTE +. They both sound great.

Hi Barendse,

What version of nebula are you running?
Im just wondering if version 1.3.464 is not compatable with the snap compressor program.
Thanks Michael
