hi alex

1 week for the 96k version?

im sure you tryed that already, but maybe not:

if i were sampling a piece of gear, i would do the whole job in 96k and then batchprocess the files with sr-conversion to 44.1k and load them again into nat... no?

or is there a problem with digital anti-aliasing filtering?

just in case you didnt try that yet..

cheers pascal

Hi Pascal,

If there is someone here that truly knows how to work with NAT, it would AlexB and a few others. If he needs to do another week of sampling, it's because he feels this is the best thing to do.

The reason is simple: some guys have asked for 44.1kHz programs so from my last release I'll do all libraries in both sample rate. If you like 96kHz go for it, if you like 44.1kHz go for this. More choice at the same price

A little demo of the GBuss with AUTO relase, 30ms attack and 4:1 ratio= -12dB GR !

Waves GComp

AlexB 4KD GComp

The difference is awesome and the "WOW" factor is really present :-)

Good work!

The first attack when drums kick in seems suffering from the same problem with AITB compressors: the attack is too slow for larger gain reduction and causes a huge impact on first loud signal. The phenomenon is more obvious on individual tracks.

The overall quality is more open, deeper, and dense.
So sexy :)
Great job man.

Waves GComp is kind of suck compared to Cytomic the glue, but the best example would be "the original unit" since seldom people have one.
