Favourite console and tape programs?

Postby odd » Sat Dec 11, 2010 11:12 am

I've been out of touch with Nebula for the past couple of years and so my library isn't up to date. Working on a dense metal track. Please let me know what you recommend in terms of console and tape programs.

Thanks. Are these commercial/3rd-party programs?

Do you have specific favourite programs? I'm looking for something to use an all channels as well as the 2bus, ie. like a real tape machine used for tracking and master.

Bump.

I know R2R is where it's at for tape, looking for opinons on favourites in the collection. I'm currently mixing a metal project with the basic tones down, some 'transparent punch' wanted.

Also, I'd like to know if it's worth going deep with the free A*I programs from nebula-programs before shelling out for AlexB's stuff. Not that they're not very reasonably priced - more than anything I'm simply hoping to save some time tediously comparing the large desk collections; hoping to concentrate on just one.
