Help! "Missing Plug-In" error after upgrading

Postby powderfinger » Fri Dec 10, 2010 2:09 am

So, I was one of the many effected by the SER authorization issue. I updated today and upgraded to 1.3.451 in the process.

Everything works on expected for new projects, but all of my old projects now read "Missing Plug-In Stand-In" in Cakewalk for each Nebula instance. For example, this is what happens when you delete a plug-in and the old project tries to reference it.

This is odd, because 1) previous upgrades have had no issue, and 2)the upgrade is in the same folder and it works on new files - this makes me think either the filename or something like that was changed such that it's not backwards compatible.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Any tips on what I can do to restore the old projects. This will be VERY frustrating if I have to go back and remix every old project.

Just did a system restore to the old version, and I'm back up and running. The new update doesn't seem to be playing nice with Cakewalk, so I'm justing going to stay on 1.3.413 for the time being...
