My apologies for yet another CUDA Macbook Pro OSX post. Straight to the point..
I've spent a few days trying to run CUDA. I have read all the post here and all over the internet. I really wanted to accomplish this. I went through the steps .
I updated my Mac all the way up to OSX 10.6.8 and my Nebula is current.
This next step confused me a little, Download CUDA 4.17 but on the CUDA website it shows the only driver with a ( .17 ) in it was labelled 4.0.17 . Anyway that was the one I used. I proceeded to the next steps and was unsuccessful in creating a CUDA connection .
Believe me when I tell you I tried everything within my limited skill level . I even learned a little about how to use the Terminal for exposing hidden folders . I know nothing about commands and compilers .
So I'm reaching out to you all . Can you help me ? Can I be help ? Is there a current up to date 2012 status regarding Nebula/CUDA.
My set up is 2009 Macbook Pro Core2 duo Graphics cards are Nvidia Geforce 9400m also a Geforce 9600m GT. OSX 10.6.8
Hi Tas, On my system, if CUDA was not installed, when I selected cuda15 I would get a flashing exclamation mark next to that setting. When Cuda was installed correctly the flashing exclamation mark was gone. hope this helps.
